Oxford Brookes Alumni Graduation Medal
Commemorate your academic achievement with this special bronze medal
Oxford Brookes is pleased to announce that internationally renowned medallist Ron Dutton has been commissioned to design a medal to recognise the success of those of you who gained awards in 2016.
The medal will be struck in bronze by Bigbury Mint and will feature an engraving of your graduation year, name and qualification, making it a unique memento of the occasion.
The medal will be 50mm in diameter and illustrated with a view of Headington Hill Hall and the University crest. It will come in a smart presentation case. The medal will cost just £42 plus p&p, including the case and engraving.
About the sculptor
Ron Dutton has been at the forefront of the art of the medal revival in Britain for many years. His work has been presented to Her Majesty the Queen and his medals are included in major international collections, including the British Museum, Monnaie de Paris and the Royal Coin Cabinet of Sweden.
About the Mint
Bigbury Mint are a family run firm with over 30 years of medal making experience. The mint has made medals for organizations such as Channel 4, the British Fire Service Association, the Royal Marines and The Institute of Mechanical Engineers. They currently hold an MoD licence to reproduce Military Medals including the current Iraq and Afghanistan medals.
