Mentor/Mentee matching

Meeting the needs of the student

The mentee/mentor matching process is a personalised service, any students interested in having a mentor will have an informal discussion to identify the nature of their requirements (subject or industry specific, areas of interest (e.g. placements, interview technique, networking skills, CV writing), year of study) after which a match is made with a suitable registered mentor.

The mentor is then encouraged (where possible) to have a face to face introductory session to introduce one another, set some clear objectives, agree timescales and reach agreement to enter into a more formal working relationship.

If you know of a current Brookes student who might be interested in being matched with a mentor please contact Ceri Butcher '93 on 01865 484 895 or on cebutcher@brookes.ac.uk.
